Terms of Service

Effective date: August 17, 2025

Welcome to The Life Insurance Pro (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of thelifeinsurance.pro and any related content, features, tools, or services (collectively, the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1) Who we are

The Life Insurance Pro is an independent insurance information and marketing website. We may provide educational content, tools, quote requests, referrals to licensed insurance professionals, and introductions to third-party insurance carriers or agencies. Availability of products and services varies by state and by carrier.

No coverage is bound through the Site. Insurance coverage takes effect only after the applicable carrier or licensed producer confirms acceptance, issues a policy, and receives the required initial premium.

2) Eligibility and account features

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. If the Site offers account features, you are responsible for the accuracy of your information and for activity that occurs under your login. Do not share your credentials.

3) Informational content, no professional advice

All content on the Site is for general educational purposes. It is not financial, legal, tax, or insurance advice, and it should not replace advice from a licensed professional who understands your situation. We do not guarantee that any product or rate is the best or only option for you.

4) Quotes, applications, and third parties

  • Estimates only. Any prices, rates, features, and product descriptions shown on the Site are illustrative until confirmed by the issuing carrier.
  • Third-party carriers and agencies. We may refer you to carriers, agencies, and licensed producers. We do not control their actions or decisions. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and them.
  • Authorizations. To help you get quotes or pre-qualify, we may request your consent to share your information with carriers or partners and to use third-party data sources. Some carriers may require additional disclosures or authorizations (for example, to access prescription history or consumer reports). We will obtain any required consent before such access.
  • No guarantee of approval. Underwriting decisions are made by carriers, not by us.

By submitting a form, requesting a quote, or providing your contact information, you consent to receive communications from us and from our partners, which may include calls, emails, and text messages (including by autodialer or prerecorded voice) about your inquiry and related products. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary.

You can opt out of marketing texts at any time by replying STOP. Opting out of marketing messages does not stop transactional or service-related communications (for example, about an in-progress request).

6) Electronic records and signatures

You agree to do business with us electronically. You consent to receive disclosures, notices, and other communications electronically and to use electronic signatures where permitted by law. You can withdraw this consent by contacting us, but doing so may limit access to certain services.

7) Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

8) Acceptable use

Do not use the Site to:

  • Violate any law or regulation.
  • Infringe the rights of others.
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, bots, or scraping tools that degrade performance.
  • Copy, reverse engineer, or misuse the Site or its content.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe misuse has occurred.

9) Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

If you submit feedback or ideas, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without compensation.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or resources. We provide these links for convenience and do not endorse or assume responsibility for third-party content, products, services, or policies.

11) No warranties

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

12) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Life Insurance Pro and its owners, employees, agents, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Site, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, whichever is greater. Some states do not allow limitations of liability, so these limits may not apply to you.

13) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Life Insurance Pro and its owners, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

14) Changes to the Site and to these Terms

We may update the Site and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the changes.

15) Suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including suspected misuse or illegal activity. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive (for example, Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law).

16) Governing law; disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Arbitration and class action waiver

Please read this section carefully. It affects your rights.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Rules. Arbitration will take place in the county where you reside or another mutually agreed location. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court.

Class and representative actions are not allowed. You and we may bring claims only in your or our individual capacity.

30-day opt-out: You may opt out of arbitration by emailing us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms with your name, contact information, and a clear statement that you are opting out of arbitration.

(If you prefer not to use arbitration, tell me and I’ll remove this section and expand the court venue language instead.)

17) Geographic restrictions

We operate the Site in the United States. We do not represent that the Site or any content is appropriate or available for use outside the U.S. Access from other locations is at your own risk and you are responsible for compliance with local laws.

18) Compliance notice for insurance availability

Insurance products are offered and sold by licensed producers and are not available in every state or for every risk profile. Product features, rates, underwriting guidelines, and eligibility are established by each carrier. Any state-specific disclaimers required by carriers or regulators will be provided by the applicable licensed producer during your application process.

19) Severability; assignment; entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site.
